- New Lego Technic Set 8258
The new Lego Technic Lego Crane Truck looks like it will be the biggest set for 2008. Parts will be in the region of 1,800 with a cost of about £100. These figures make it this years BIG set like the Lego Technic Buldozer from 2009.

4 stabaliser legs

steering via the hazard light on the roof

possibly 3 or 4 of the new liniar actuators (like pneumatic cyclinders)
Again from the image it looks like the motor will power the stabaliser legs and the finctions of the crane - rotate, lift and extend.
It looks like there might be some new body pannel style parts wih this model, but nothing else.
This will be on my must-buy list as soon it is released.
Given the recomended age range is 11-16 years old it's going to be a technicle and complicated build.
