From the YouTube video of the model we can see a good overview of how it works.
My first impression is that the stabiliser legs look very flimsy. On previous crane models the legs have actually raised the model of the ground. There appears to be a lot of "play" in in the crane boom. It would have been good to motorise the winch in some way, and to maybe have a motorised extension of the boom. Rather disappointed that the crane arm doesn't extend much beyond the base of the model.
So will I be buying it? I'll probably wait till it's available from Amazon and buy it as part of a bigger order.
