Amazon America and now taking pre-orders on the new Technic Lego Log loader (set 8049). The model will be available for delivery a few days after the turn of the year.
The cost for the model will be $59.99 and will contain 525 pieces.
The alternative model is a Log Handler. No pictures are currently available of this alternative model. It seems odd the alternative model is so closely related to the main model.
This model marks the return of pneumatics as previously mentioned - 2 cylinders, 2 valves and one pump. It'll be possible to add a Power Functions motor to this model to build an air compressor to run the pneumatics.
