More information found on the Technic Lego Crane Truck (set 8258)

More information has been found on the internet about the new Lego Technic Crane Truck. A German toy shop blog has revealed new pictures and other details about the new set.

The set is expected to go on sale in September 2009 - this is a few months later than expected. The retail price will be about 149.99 euros - about £132. This will make it one of the most expensive Lego Technic sets of all time.

New Technic Lego set for 2009 – Tractor Trailer (8063)

New Lego Set 8063

This new Lego Technic Tractor Trailer model might look farmiliary - the tractor part looks identicle to the Lego Technic Tractor from 2006 (model 8284)

At a guess there will be about 1,000 parts in this set and it might retails for about £50.

The parts that stick out on this model are the green panels on the trailer. These panels were first introduced on the Dumper Truck at the start of 2009. On closer inspection the trailer will also have one of the new liniar actuators. These seem to be cropping up on all the new sets bigger sets at the moment.

Again a 2 for 1 model - 2 models for the price of one.

Sterring will be via the small gear on the roof and there's a chance the model will have a 4 cylinder engine.
