An excellent review on the Lego Technic Wheel Loader (set 8265) has been added to the Eurobricks forum here.

The review is well structured, with photos of the box, the various part bags, various stages of the build, and the final model along with similar models from the past.

So far no major issues have been mentioned with this model and it looks like it will be the major success story of Lego this year.  Unfortunately there's been some issues with the "build quality" of the large Lego Technic Crane Truck.

There's also a video on YouTube showing what can be done when you add this set together with the Lego Technic Bulldozer (set 8275) remote control parts.  It appears to use one of the XL Motors to drive the model and one to steer, and uses one Medium Motor to raise and lower the bucket, and one to tip it.
